September 2020

TIP 1 Rock the Farm Postponed

The annual benefit concert, Rock the Farm, in Ocean County has been postponed this year due to the pandemic. Tickets purchased will be transferrable to 2021, or refunded upon request.

Although the concert may not be happening, the charitable efforts by CFC Recovery still are, and you can still support them through their website at

TIP 2 Retirement Gift Ideas

One of the larger challenges to overcome when retiring is figuring out what to do with all the new unstructured time. A popular choice used to be to travel more, but that is currently restricted due to the pandemic.

If someone you know is retiring soon (or if you’re considering it yourself), consider one of these Retirement Gift Ideas. They are popular options to show appreciation, which are safe, fun, and time-consuming.

TIP 3 Special Needs Trusts

Managing financial resources can be challenging. That challenge can become overwhelming when one also needs to act as a caretaker for someone else, and manage assets for them, especially if that person has special needs.

A special needs trust can help maximize access to all the public and private financial resources available for the special needs individuals. Not all trust departments or trust companies offer special needs trusts, but Garden State Trust Company takes pride in being a provider of these services. Click to learn more.

TIP 4 Referral Request

Walt Disney once said: “Whatever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it, they will want to come back and see you do it again, and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.”

Our customers may not want to bring others along with them, but we are gratified by the longevity of our relationships, are always ready to show others with similar needs how our services could help. If someone comes to mind that you might refer to us, please don’t hesitate to let us know 😊.
